What is agent readiness?
AI agents read the web differently than people do. Most never run JavaScript. Many check robots.txt and llms.txt before they request a page. All of them parse structured data and Markdown more reliably than a page built for the human eye. This checker asks three questions about your site: can an agent reach it, can it find its way around, and can it understand what it finds?

What is agent readiness?

What does the Agent Readiness Checker test?

It also reports a small set of emerging signals and what your robots.txt tells major AI crawlers by name.
How do you make your website agent-ready?
Start with the checks that scored fail or partial. Common fixes: serve core content in the initial HTML response instead of behind client-side JavaScript, publish an llms.txt file describing your site, add JSON-LD structured data to your pages, and serve a Markdown version alongside the HTML. What's a good Agent Readiness score?
Scores run 0-100. Above 80 means agents can reliably access, discover, and parse your content. 60-79 is a solid base with clear room to improve. Below 60 means real gaps exist somewhere in access, discovery, or parseability worth fixing.
Why is my score null instead of a number?
A null score means Frase couldn't resolve enough checks to grade the page fairly, not that it failed. This usually happens when the page times out, blocks the request, or returns too little content to read. Confirm the URL loads directly in a browser without a login, then check again.
How do I fix a failed check?
Each failed or partial check on your result expands into plain-language guidance for that specific fix. Inside Frase, the agent assembles those fixes into a paste-ready report and can publish the changes to your CMS on your approval, or automatically if you opt in.
