Decay caught, fix drafted

Frase brings you a finished fix, not another alert

When a guarded page loses rankings, Frase does not just flag it. Frase reads what is beating you in the results now, drafts the specific changes to win the position back, and shows you the exact word-level diff. You approve, and the new version ships to your CMS.

  • Frase catches the drop from Search Console signals, not a manual audit
  • The fix arrives drafted, with the diff and a confidence score on each change
  • Nothing republishes until you approve it, unless you opt a safe change into auto-apply

Part of the loop

Most teams research, write, and publish, then move on. The page slowly decays and no one notices until traffic is gone. Content Guard owns the fix stage, so the loop actually closes and your best pages keep their rankings.

Create

Frase researches the query, then drafts the page and its images in your brand voice.

Publish

One click sends it live to WordPress, Webflow, Sanity, Wix, or FraseCMS.

Optimize

Frase scores the draft for SEO and GEO and shows what to improve before you ship.

Fix

Content Guard watches for ranking decay and drafts the fix for your approval.

You are here

What Frase does

From a slipping page to a republished one, in one loop

Content Guard turns ongoing optimization into something that runs in the background. You pick the pages worth protecting and set how much you want to review. Frase handles the watching, the drafting, and the republish.

Watches for ranking decay

Frase tracks each guarded page against its Search Console performance and the results outranking it. When position or clicks slip, Frase flags the page before the traffic is gone.

Drafts the fix, not just the alert

Frase reads what the current top results cover, then drafts the specific changes to win the position back: a refreshed stat, a missing section, a new FAQ. Each change carries a confidence score.

You set how much to review

Keep every change in your review queue, or let Frase auto-apply the low-risk edits above a confidence bar you set. Substantial changes and statistic edits always wait for a human.

Shows a clean diff you can revert

Every drafted change is a reviewable word-level diff. Approve it, edit it, or revert it from one screen, so you always see exactly what is shipping before it goes live.

Republishes to your CMS

Approved fixes ship back as a new draft to the page's source: WordPress, Webflow, Sanity, Wix, or FraseCMS. The loop runs end to end without you opening a separate editor.

Guard only the pages that earn

You choose which pages join the guarded set. Protect the cornerstone posts and client work that drive revenue, and leave the rest in your wider inventory.

Stop stitching point tools

Most tools tell you a page is dying. Frase brings the fix.

Knowing a page is decaying is the easy part. The hard part is the weekly grind of researching, rewriting, and republishing it, which is exactly where the work stalls. Frase closes that gap.

The fragmented way

  • Get an alert that a page is slipping, then schedule the rewrite for some week you never reach.
  • Open a research tool, a writing tool, and your CMS to refresh one decaying post.
  • Trust an unattended tool to rewrite live pages with no diff and no off switch.
  • Refresh a page once, then watch it quietly decay again a few months later.

The Frase way

  • Frase drafts the fix the same week the decay is caught, so it is waiting for your approval.
  • Frase researches, drafts, and republishes the fix in one loop.
  • Frase shows the diff and waits for your approval. You set what, if anything, applies on its own.
  • Frase keeps watching after the fix and catches the next slip before it costs you rankings.

I use Frase mostly for SEO, GEO, and EEAT optimization. It gives me useful real-time pointers of what need fixing to improve my content in those aspects.

I love how Frase scrapes the top 20 listings for you! Saves a great deal of work for those of us who used to have to manually search for the best titles, headers, and keywords.

What you get in the trial

Guard a page in your first session

Start a trial, connect your CMS and Search Console, and mark a page that has been slipping. Frase reads its decay, drafts the fix, and shows you the diff to approve. You will see the loop close on a real page during the trial, not a promise to fix things later.

Plans start at $39/mo billed yearly, and each tier guards more pages as your library grows. White-label client portals and unlimited guarded pages are part of the Enterprise plan.

Questions about Content Guard

What does Content Guard actually watch for?

Content Guard watches the pages you mark as guarded for Google ranking and traffic decay. It reads your Search Console performance and the results outranking you, so when a page drops in position or loses clicks, Frase catches it and starts drafting the fix. It is focused on Google performance. Tracking how AI engines like ChatGPT and Perplexity cite you is a separate feature, AI Visibility, on the AI visibility tracking page.

Does Frase change my live pages automatically?

Not unless you tell it to. By default every drafted fix waits in your review queue, and nothing republishes until you approve it. You can opt low-risk changes into auto-apply above a confidence bar you set, but substantial body changes and statistic edits always wait for a human. The setting is yours, and the default is conservative.

Where does the republished page go?

Approved fixes ship back as a new draft to the page's source CMS: WordPress, Webflow, Sanity, Wix, or FraseCMS. If you write in Frase and host on FraseCMS, the whole loop runs without an external connection. The republish lands as a draft your editor can review before it goes live.

How is Content Guard different from content monitoring?

Monitoring is the diagnostic view: every page with a live health status so you can see what is healthy, decaying, or urgent. Content Guard is the action layer that runs on the pages you guard, drafting and republishing the fix. Most teams use monitoring to decide which pages are worth guarding, then let Content Guard close the loop on them.

How does Frase decide what to fix?

When a guarded page decays, Frase reads the results now outranking it and drafts targeted changes to win the position back, such as a refreshed statistic, a missing section, or a new FAQ. Each suggestion comes with a confidence score and a word-level diff, so you can see exactly what would change and why before you approve it.

Can I review every change before it goes live?

Yes. Every drafted change is a reviewable diff you can approve, edit, or revert from one screen. Teams that want a human on every change keep auto-apply off entirely, and the loop still runs, just with your approval at the end of it.

How many pages can I guard?

Each plan guards more pages as you move up, and Enterprise covers unlimited guarded pages. Pages outside the guarded set still appear in your wider content inventory; they just do not trigger the drafted-fix loop. See the pricing page for the current limits per plan.
