Run Frase from inside Claude and your AI tools
The Frase MCP server connects your Frase account to the AI assistant you already work in. Ask in plain language and Frase researches the query, drafts the page, scores it, and publishes to your CMS, without you leaving the conversation.

Ask in plain language, get real data
Frase answers with live SERP and scores, right in the thread
Ask your assistant whether a topic is worth writing, and it calls Frase to check. Frase returns the difficulty, the questions to answer, and the SEO and GEO targets inline, then proposes the brief. You approve before anything is drafted or published.
- Frase runs the research and returns the data inside the conversation you are in
- Frase proposes; you approve. Nothing publishes from a chat without your say-so
- The same account and data, whether you work in the app or in your assistant
Should we write about “best CRM for small business”? Check the SERP.

Winnable. Want me to build the brief and draft it in Vantra’s voice?
Part of the loop
Ask, and Frase runs the same research, drafting, scoring, and publishing it does in the app, with the same brand voice and the same scores. The MCP server exposes the whole job to your assistant, not a single trick bolted onto chat.
Research
Ask Frase to analyze the SERP, study competitors, and surface the questions the page must answer.
Create
Frase builds the brief and drafts the page in your brand voice, all in the thread.
Optimize
Frase scores the draft for SEO and GEO and names what to add before you publish.
You are herePublish & track
On your go-ahead, Frase publishes to your CMS, then reads AI-visibility and Search Console data back to you.
What you can ask for
Everything Frase does, available by asking
The MCP server exposes Frase's research, writing, scoring, auditing, and publishing as tools your assistant can call. You describe the outcome; Frase runs the steps and shows its work.
Research a query without leaving the chat
Ask Frase to analyze the SERP, compare the top results, run a competitor gap analysis, and pull the People Also Ask questions, then turn it straight into a brief.
Draft the page in your brand voice
Frase generates the outline and writes the sections sounding like your team. You review and refine the draft right there in the thread before anything is final.
Score and tighten before you ship
Frase scores the draft for SEO and GEO and names the specific gaps to close, so you can tell when a page is ready instead of publishing on a hunch.
Read your visibility and performance
Ask how a page is doing and Frase reads back your AI-visibility signals across engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Gemini, plus your Search Console traffic and ranking changes.
Run a site audit on demand
Point Frase at a domain and it audits the pages, flags the issues, and prioritizes the fixes worth your time, returned as a list you can act on.
Publish to your CMS when you say go
Once you approve, Frase publishes the page to WordPress, Webflow, Sanity, Wix, or FraseCMS, so the work that started as a sentence ends as a live page.
Stop stitching point tools
Stop copy-pasting between your assistant and your SEO tools
Most AI assistants can write, but they cannot see your rankings, score against the live SERP, or publish to your CMS. So you bounce between a chat window and a stack of tabs, losing the thread each time. Frase closes the gap.
The fragmented way
- Draft in a chat, then leave to research the SERP somewhere else and paste it back.
- Write content your assistant cannot score against what is actually ranking.
- Switch to a separate dashboard to check rankings and AI visibility.
- Export the finished piece and re-paste it into your CMS by hand.
The Frase way
- Frase researches the query inside the same conversation you are drafting in.
- Frase scores the draft for SEO and GEO against the live results before you publish.
- Frase reads your Search Console and AI-visibility data back to you in the thread.
- On your approval, Frase publishes straight to your CMS from the conversation.
Proof
Built for teams who already live in their AI assistant
“The MCP is so easy to use and is a game changer because it brings insights directly into my workflow without needing to toggle between tabs.”
“It transforms hours of research into minutes with its SERP analyzer and Outline Builder.”
What you get in the trial
Connect it once, then just ask
Your developer installs the server and adds your API key in a few minutes, and Frase appears as a tool in your assistant. From there you work in plain language: research a query, draft the page, score it, and publish when it is ready. You will have a real, scored draft in hand in your first session, not a ranking miracle in two weeks, but a page that is genuinely ready to compete.
The MCP server is included with Frase, from $39/mo billed yearly. Your usage counts against the same plan limits as the app, so there is no separate add-on to buy. Add seats or audit credits as your team grows.

Questions about the Frase MCP server
What is the Frase MCP server?
It is a connector built on the Model Context Protocol, an open standard for linking AI assistants to outside tools. It exposes your Frase account as tools your assistant can use, so you can research, write, score, audit, and publish content by asking, instead of clicking through the app.
Which AI assistants does it work with?
Frase shows up as a tool in any client that speaks the MCP standard. We document setup for Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, and VS Code with GitHub Copilot. As more assistants adopt MCP, Frase becomes available in them too.
Can it actually create content, or just read data?
Both. The server reads your rankings, AI visibility, and SERP data, and it also builds briefs, drafts pages in your brand voice, scores them, runs audits, and publishes to your CMS. It runs the full loop, not just reporting.
Will it publish or change things on its own?
No. Frase proposes the brief, the draft, and the changes, and you approve what goes live. Every content type starts in review, and a page only publishes to your CMS once you give the go-ahead, so running Frase by conversation never means losing control of it.
Do I need to be a developer to use it?
Only for the one-time setup. Someone with basic technical skills installs the server and adds your API key, which takes a few minutes. After that you work entirely in plain language. No coding to research, write, score, or publish.
Is my data safe?
Yes. The server authenticates with your personal Frase API key, so it only reaches your account data, and it talks to Frase over an encrypted connection. Your key stays in your local configuration and is not shared with your assistant's provider.
What plan do I need, and does it cost extra?
The MCP server is included with Frase, from $39/mo billed yearly. There is no separate add-on. Your activity through the server counts against the same plan limits as the app, the briefs, audits, and content you already pay for.
How is this different from the Frase Agent in the app?
The Frase Agent runs the loop inside the Frase web app. The MCP server brings those same capabilities into the assistant you already work in, like Claude Desktop or Cursor. Same account, same data, different surface. See the Frase Agent page for the in-app experience.
